Mizzou also earns props for playing the first of their home-home series with UCF in ORLANDO back in 2012....as too many P5 teams that sign home-home deals cancel said series after they host the first game of those contracts (i.e. Thanks Kansas State).

It won't matter who the RB is if we don't open some holes for them to run through.

The line opened up holes. The problem was that, without a passing threat, there were LBs and safeties waiting to run through them first.

Ya, worst part was, with 10 people in the box, there was always someone open. Saw it time and time again, DiNovo just couldn't or wouldn't make the throws.

He just doesn't have the velocity to make teams respect the spread. By his third series, PSU wasn't even press covering. They were giving 10 year cushions to the WRs because they knew he couldn't get the ball out there quick enough to hurt them.

I remember that one pass on the right side. It was a comeback route so you'd expect some zip to it.
Man that ball seemed to hang in the air forever. The defender had enough time to take 4 or 5 steps to slap it out of the air. No way we can have a QB with that weak of an arm.

RE: All is right in football land at knightnation
The strange thing to me is that I still have no idea if this team is any good. I think the spectrum is pretty big. Most fans always have the bravado after a loss that "the team is better than that", which usually isn't the case. This time I think Knightnation has to feel pretty comfortable with that as their go to line going into the Missouri game. A telling stat is that was only the 2nd time since 2009 where UCF was +2 in turnovers and still lost the game. Last year the bugaboo for the team was the costly turnover. If that has been fixed, QB selection done and injured #1's (Hall and Stanback) back, we should truly see if we are big time. Missouri game shouldn't be missed by any AAC fan, it is going to say a lot about who is the best team in the conference.

Exactly. The box was stacked the whole time. Their secondary was their weak point. That's why we scored at will with Holman

He was not ready for the speed of the game
