I agree. I won't be satisfied until Julie Mack has done a month long expose on this, and we've got a 100 pages of threads about it.

I would like you to do a spoof on the other thread about Julie Mack doing an expose on this message board...Desertbronco v. Chipdip and the political undertones that exist.

RE: Lee and Rolled suspended indefinitely
I think the key issue here that people might be forgetting is besides the retail fraud, there was a deliberate cover up here among the three players (Lee, Rolle, and Phillips). They broke team rules by not telling the coaching staff.
Quote:"We didn't know about it and the police never notified us and the players never notified us about the situation," Fleck said. "The first time it was brought to our attention was today. They played for us and it's very disappointing. We have team rules in place where if anything happens with the police the players immediately contact us and they failed to do that."
This is what's going to get them a longer suspension, IMO. Retail fraud - yup, that's obviously a crime if convicted and they should be punished. That should be at least a couple of games.
Breaking team rules? This part is objective and decided 100% entirely up the coaching staff. I think these guys are going to miss more than just a couple of games. I'm betting at least 4 games minimum, perhaps even the season depending on whether or not he wants to make an example out of them.
The players broke 2 of the 3 cardinal rules in Fleck's "RTB" philosophy he brought here with him.
R - responsibility
T - trust
B - belief
Perfect test to see if Fleck is true to his word.

RE: Lee and Rolled suspended indefinitely
First off, there was an arrest, so parsing out and rationalizing what these grown men who were responsible enough to sign a scholly may or may not have done is a moot point. This sure doesn't sound like a Kalamazoo Police railroad job.
Secondly, anyone who's even worked for the public knows that you have to inform your employer if something like an arrest happens. This is no different and I'm sure they went over the team rules quite early on and had to acknowledge that they read and understood them.
Now it's consequence time. Nothing less, nothing more.

make an example...this is still a work and progress...which needs to be built on a solid hull. Any slack is just going to lead to the wind escaping the sails...in rough water a boat needs to be moving in a definite direction to keep from capsizing.
The waves are the adversity.

Translated...make them walk the plank for the season. Scare the rest of players (Sailers?) straight. There can only be one Ship's Captain...time for the Skipper to lead!

Lee and Rolled suspended indefinitely
Correct me if I'm wrong DB, but Rolle and Lee weren't arrested when this happened. I thought the police report stated that they were let go. The police decided to press charges on them recently, hence the bench warrants for them last week.
But yeah, they were idiots for multiple reasons you and others have stated

That's exactly what is needed................unless several Dlinemen and LBers go down, then I'd probably soften the punishment and get them back as soon as possible.
Luckily, nothing will happen to Darius Phillips since was in the get away car drinking a Faygo.

Doesn't matter if they were arrested or not, according to team rules

Nope. They report this, deal with their issue like men and there might be more leniency. That's the biggest part they own, while you guys are parcing participles as to whether they were stealing or not, which is hilarious because there were kids and booze involved, they at best ignored it and didn't inform the coach.

Any on these guys drive a white Charger with Wisconsin plates?
http://www.mlive.com/news/kalamazoo/inde...ncart_2box
It'd be funny if the video had shown them throwing pot, handguns, large pieces of uncooked meat, oars and empty chocolate milk containers out as the police pursued, no dice.

RE: Lee and Rolled suspended indefinitely
I heard this was happening a few days ago -- can't remember if I read it here or just heard through word of mouth -- but now that the article is out, wanted to bring it back up in its original thread.
In short... Rolle staying, Lee going:

Without knowing every little detail, I like Fleck's approach to this situation. Reading between the lines, it's obvious Lee hasn't made much of an effort.
