Yeah man, check out Animal House if you haven't seen it. It's a classic.

I knew they'd go down on some counts, but honestly surprised they went down that hard.

But "surprised" =/= "upset". For the most part, they created this mess and they will have to deal with it.

The guy was a crony capitalist to the 9th degree. Funny thing is, this was basically nothing. I'd love to see how the tunnel toll deals were developed, negotiated, and steered. I have a feeling the $15k in gifts he got from Johnny Williams was pocket change.

Glad to see corruption punished, regardless of party affiliation. So disappointed in the friendly cronyism that appeared to be no issue to the governor and wife. Hopefully sets an example for all that follow.

I'm positive he has gotten rich off of his office. As has almost every politician out there any more. It is sickening and we've allowed it to happen under our noses.

Legal insider trading (complete BS). "Lobbying" by his "constituents". You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. It is awful.

Unfortunately the only time these practices get prosecuted is when the opposite party has control of the prosecutorial mechanism. It always comes down to politics.

Take New York. Governor Andrew Cuomo initiated the Moreland Commission to investigate corruption. What was assumed was that it was a ploy to strongarm legislators to agree to Cuomo's agenda. When the commission started to get to close to the State House, Cuomo disbanded the commission.
