I recently relocated my dog house to Charlotte. Anybody on this board in this city or know of any NIU friendly bars or pubs?

Charlotte is a beautiful city. Not sure of any NIU bars, though. Depending on where exactly you're located, the Carolina Ale House downtown is always a fun place to watch a game.

Welcome to NC. Good luck on the NIU bar thing. I know exactly one other UT fan in my area and never see anything MAC related (apparel, window stickers, etc..) in this area.

On the other hand, I'm about an hour north of there and CLT is a pretty happening city. Good luck to ya.

Yeah we could do that, but then we would be stuck at square one when we join another conference

I've had trouble finding an NIU bar in Kane county, much less out of state.

It's ok. I found a Northwestern one

I have watched a couple of NIU games at Rookies in St. Charles, had the games on almost every television (though they were the beloved MACtion weeknight games). Have talked to the owner, he seemed genuinely supportive of NIU football program.
