says "absolutely not" when asked if he voted for the Tigers. Said didn't think Patterson did either

GG said he would not answer a question about Ifedi so they did not bother asking

RE: Coach Fuente up on Greg Gaston in the next segment (11:47am 9/4/2014)
Recap:
On AP game: Pleased with approach to the game and our urgency; seemed like our guys were interested in taking the game over early. But there were a few mistakes that could have cost us in a closer game, such as fumbling the ball too much. Overall, Coach was pleased with the effort.
On timing of UCLA game: GG asked if this was a good time for the game against such tough competition. Coach responded, "Well, I guess." He didn't sound too enthused about it, but did say that the kids are excited and he's pleased that it's not in the middle of conference play. He's also happy for the bye-week before the MTSU matchup.
On playing late: Not a big deal. The real disadvantage is when west coast teams travel east and have to play early.
Reaction to Hundley being sacked 5 times by VA: UCLA didn't do some things that he's used to seeing them do, but believes that their struggles are by-and-large a function of missing their center for the VA game. He doesn't expect UCLA to struggle offensively this season, but recognized that they did struggle last week and says, "It'll be interesting to see if we can get after him (Hundley)."
On Myles Jack: GG - "Do you have to gameplan for a guy like that?" There are times you do, but usually it's against a dangerous pass-rusher and making sure you're blocking with two guys.
On Paxton Lynch: GG - "Do you think he's ready to take the step up (in the intimidating atmosphere in the Rose Bowl)?" "I do. The quality of the defensive players may be more of an issue." But Coach feels good about Paxton, his preparation, his focus, etc.
On the Rose Bowl atmosphere: Coach has coached there before. Plans on doing something Coach Patterson did with him and his players. They will get there early and practice at the Rose Bowl tomorrow and will give players and coaches half an hour afterwards to walk around and take it all in, take photos, self-guided tours, etc., to "get it over with and give them time to soak it all in." He said that it really helped both coaches and players out when Coach Patterson did that for them.
On the Top 25 vote: Doesn't think it was Gary Patterson. He said with Coach Patterson, you have to EARN that vote, and one good performance against inferior competition will not do it for Coach P.
Has he talked to the "youngsters" about the step up in competition? All the coaches have explained that they will now be matched up against a high level of competition with several NFL players on both sides of the ball and not to expect that we will have the same sort of success as we did against AP. He said that most of the kids intuitively get that at this point and has confidence that those who don't will adjust quickly come Saturday night.
No Ifedi questions and as GG pointed out, even if they would have asked, the answer would have been complete silence.
