Every generation rationalizes their superiority over the generation that follows. Hell, I've even found myself doing it about those that are half my age.
No, people started getting lazy and not giving a damn in the 60's. From there it's just gone down hill. You'll always have standouts, but they are getting far and few between. Most millennials are social media drama queens.
A completely true statement.

See, that's a prime example right there. Your generation likes to communicate with pictures, not thought out statements. Are you going to respond to your board members by holding up memes when they ask you how the R&D phase is going with the new products they hired you to develop?

For all of your 15,000+ posts, you don't communicate with thought out statements. You base things off of conjecture and personal opinions.
How about some stats to show that "most" of my generation are worthless. I love how people love to say the generations born from the 1980's on are worthless while completely ignoring that the previous generation is the one that completely ****** the economy...and I'm not even talking recent. Policies have been made since the 80's that have undermined the middle class and shipped millions of working class jobs overseas.
The options today for the vast majority of people are basically go to college and get an okay, but unremarkable office job or work a poverty level job.
All those middle level jobs that used to exist for high school graduates are gone. That's not my generation's fault and we're in no position to change it as business owners and the policy makers are still largely the generation that put us where we are today.
My generation cannot really be judged until we are the decision makers and that is not today.
As for EverRespect, you're like 4 or 5 years older than me. You are MY generation.

Quote:In 2012, a Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data found a rising number of young adults living with their parents; a record of 21.6 million, or 36 percent, of 18- to 31-year-olds, or the so called Millennial generation, were living at home. That figure was the highest percentage recorded in at least four decades
http://wallstcheatsheet.com/business/eco...?a=viewall
Quote:Employment is the second-most important predictor of a young adult’s living situation once they are beyond college age. Among those 24- to 34-year-olds living on their own, 67 percent have full-time employment, while only 50 percent of those living with their parents are employed full time. Gallup calculated that the unemployment rate for those participating in the labor force is twice as high for post-college-aged adults living with their parents than their contemporaries who are not living at home, 14.6 percent to 7.1 percent.
34 fricken years old dude. When I was 34, I had been out of the house 16 years and was well into my career.
Yeah, y'all are gonna change the world. Social issues are all your generation knows. Just like the Democrats.

It's acceptable in 27 states. They need to stop crying and concentrate on those 27 states, and being happy. They're only hurting themselves by continuing to try to jab that thorn in the sides of everybody. They'll be hated and despised around the nation by the time this is all said and done, their big heads are getting the best of them. People are getting fed up with their constant lawsuits and false cries of equality & discrimination. They're making the nation hate them.
And in 20 years when my generation runs the country, it will be a fringe issue that only a very small minority will complain about. Support for gay marriage is overwhelming for the millennial generation.
It is only going to grow.
This just highlights your ignorance and lack of historical awareness. Your generation was my generation, my generation's outlook evolved as will yours. It's always been that way. Every generation blames the one before it until they suddenly realize they've become the very generation they railed against in their youth. It's a paradigm shift that paradoxically never changes. Remember this conversation in 10, 15 or 20 years when you suddenly recognize yourself as one being railed against for the very same things you are now complaining about. #tiltingatwindmills

sadly, your generation doesn't have the work ethic or skills to run the country. Your generation will run it into the ground.
Again, forcing states like Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas to accept a practice they do not want will only hurt the special interest group that is pushing it.
Same thing was said about the generation before mine. And the generation before that. And before that. Etc.
What was said about what?
that the work ethic wasn't there and they'd run the country into the ground.
Every generation rationalizes their superiority over the generation that follows. Hell, I've even found myself doing it about those that are half my age.
Then you're halfway towards enlightenment on the generational issue...

I was a freshman in college in 1997 the first time I accessed the internet and I was out of grad school and working before I first went to a "social media" site. I was 32 when I got my first smartphone. I am not your generation.

Meh, 29 to 1. Seriously, how would Scalia or Alito rule if a case hit his court when they were Federal Judges?
