I'm going to assume there is a reason why they decided to bring in a another goalie. It is bit unusual for a team to carry a total of 4 goalies

Any comments about the scrimmage?

The roster numbers were not right on some so we had to guess at some identities. For me, the great part was that Mike McKee no longer stands out. We have several players his size and his skills have improved to the point that he blends in quite well. Both the new coaches were there, so got a look at them. None of them played like this was their first year of college hockey. I'm feeling optimistic about this season.

Did we sign a 4th goalie, or did they just bring one in for the scrimmage? I only see 3 listed on the 2014-2015 roster.

There were also 3 alums skating with the team - Balisy, Berschbach and Warda.

Can't wait for the season to start. For an intersquad scrimmage 4 weeks before the first game, they looked pretty good to me. LOTS of size and seemed like decent speed.

Inconsistent goal tending hurt us last season. The job might be up for grabs.

There will be 4 goalies all season. They are looking ahead. Frank graduates after this year, Hafner and Bloomberg the year after. They had an opportunity to bring in a guy that aged out of Jr's, so they grabbed him. Many teams carry four guys, not that unusual. Plus competition makes you stronger.

We shall see. It could be an interesting season with two new coaches, several new big bodies, and four goal tenders.

I'm feeling optimistic about this season.

This year is probably the team's best opportunity for conference title and to make a deep run in NCAA's as we could lose a lot of players after this year.

I'm just going to enjoy the moment.
