Just curious, what stores in the west suburbs (preferably Naperville/Downers Grove area) sells NIU apparel? I want some new stuff but don't feel like driving out to DeKalb! Atleast for the time being.

I typically see NIU stuff at Finish Line and Lids.

The internet is your best bet; Finish Line, Lids and Fanatics usually have the best stuff.

Dicks in Geneva is far, but they have stuff. I believe the dicks in oak brook does as well. They did when I was an intern over in DG two years ago and I'd stop at dicks to pick golf stuff up on lunch.

Dicks in Geneva is far, but they have stuff. I believe the dicks in oak brook does as well. They did when I was an intern over in DG two years ago and I'd stop at dicks to pick golf stuff up on lunch.

There's one in Naperville too now, but I haven't been in there in a while so I don't know if they have anything. I'll have to check, I was thinking about getting a new shirt anyway.

There's a ton of NIU stuff at Dick's in Rockford. I'd imagine the same would be for the western burbs.

Went to the Dick's in Bloomingdale yesterday and they had nothing. To be fair, I didn't see any collegiate stuff besides one small rack of ND stuff.

I was at the Dick's in Lombard not too long ago, maybe a month or so. They had just as much NIU stuff as they did of other big name colleges. I posted about it in the NIU Gear thread I made. They had several golf polos, t-shirts and a long-sleeve. All Adidas/Under Armour, nice stuff

Maybe they restocked their college stuff more recently, but they only had B1G and ND stuff when I was last there in mid July. Good that they are carrying quality Huskies stuff now.

Off topic, but there seems to be a lot of us out this way (bloomingdale, lombard, carol stream) that we should all try to meet up around here for either the Ark/UNLV games.

I am fairly sure the Alum Association will have a watch party in that area for the Arkansas game. Not sure about the UNLV game because they will have an event AT the game.

I recently got a couple great NIU t-shirts from Finish Line, the polyester Under Armour style type material for 2/$30. You can order online and pick up in store. I wear these when I'm out running and get lots of "Go Huskies!"

I don't think so. If you're looking for an NIU hat, they have a bunch of good ones. Other than that the shirt and jersey selection were not good. The jersey they had was a piss-poor knock off.

It looks like the Finish Line in Yorktown Mall carries some NIU stuff. So I'll check that out as well as the Dick's that is nearby.

I saw some at Meijer in Oswego.

Dicks in Oak Brook/(Lombard)had a couple of great NIU tops--- Adidas and Underarmour. $30+/-
