American Sports Network thought.
I really like how CUSA went out of the box with this TV Deal. Has any one heard or know of future plans? I could see a great partnership with some start up cable channels. Not to get into politics, but imagine if ASN could cut a deal to broadcast on Newsmax, Bloomberg, Glen Beck Channel or RFDTV, etc.. Still allow over the air but pickup channels that broadcast nation wide. I thing RFDTV or GBTV would work really well.

I only have two positives from the Hampton-ODU game:
1. Good guys won!
2. It was on TV.

The whole reason for this Network is to provide live tv sports content for Sinclaires over the air broadcast stations. Live sports is about the only thing left on tv where the vast majority of viewers are watching live. That means people watching the commercials instead of skipping them which makes the advertising worth more. Cutting a deal with a cable channel undercuts the whole reason for creating ASN.
