I would venture to say that she isn't gay by her reaction to the question. She is not for the gay agenda either. She felt slighted to be asked that question and she went to the administration because that's what they're taught.

As for her rainbow tattoo, to her it was just cute and possibly doesn't even know what it connotes.

If all of this is correct...then nothing should have occurred beyond this. No suspension was necessary or indicated. There was no need to make a federal issue of this innocuous event.
