I'm guessing he mis-typed and meant to say "could have been North Carolina in this spot"

State is terrible. UNC is pretty good (although they had a slow start to game 1). They're not in this poll, but they probably could be.

If it wasn't a typo, then this guy is a moron.

I think you are spot on here…Sure he meant UNC-Chapel Hill as they are ranked in most other polls and not in his. Clearly a typo…Congrats Temple!!!!

Temple rank not withstanding, he may still be a moron ... he had Marshall ranked #8 ...

Yeh...I don't get the NC State reference at all. They were losing to Georgia Southern for most of the game. I'll be rooting for Temple all season long (Except for when they play ECU). I would love for the Owls to be ranked at some point.

Agreed but he is doing it for one reason only…So he can look smart at the end of the year. I watched the Marshall vs Miami (OH) game and it was clear that Marshall was not that good, Miami (OH) almost came back to win the game.

One side of the ball, sure I'll agree, the other however is worse than last year. 31 points given up to Liberty?03-lmfao We can drop 70+ on them if their D plays like that in Greenville in few weeks.

The NCSU thing threw me... but regarding UNC, they returned 3 or 4 players from suspension following the Liberty game and I believe they were all on the defensive side of the ball. UNC is better than they were last year, but I think ECU is too. BEAT USC!

Interesting comments..."25. Temple (NR): Could have been North Carolina State in this spot. Could have been East Carolina. We'll go with the Owls to bring up the rear, walking into Vandy and beating the Commodores by 30. Only SEC non-con loss of the first week"

The Pirates need to beat the Gamecocks and enter the Top 25 next week.

I am not so sure UNC-Chapel Hill is better this year. They are almost out of Butch Davis recruits on the lines and it appears they have not backfilled very well. Totally different approach in how Fedoucha is building Chapel Hill compared to what Davis did…Offensively they will score more but defensively they appear to be getting worse with every passing season.
