Finally, UTEP gets home and home with Army
UTEP has been trying for 15 years to schedule Army in FB. 2016 in El Paso and 2017 at West Point. I know several of you have had Army on your schedule but this will be the first time for UTEP. With Ft Bliss in El Paso this should be a popular game in the area.

UTEP vs Army

Love playing the Academies. Army was the first team UAB played after 9/11. Very emotional.

North Texas has a 6 game series with Army beginning in 2016 - 2021. Looks like Army will be doubling up on the Texas teams for two seasons.

Make that a triple. Army is also on the Rice schedule in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Speaking of academies: Would love to get a Navy-ODU series going, but with Navy joining the AAC and having three immutable OOC games, that's never going to happen unless a) they land in the same conference, or b) Navy decides to go back to being an indy, which isn't happening.

UTEP is a fine team to combat on the fields of friendly strife.

We are ready!

LA Tech played Army in Dallas' Cotton Bowl last season. We also played at Army back in 2008 or '09, and have had a home-home series with Navy in the last 6 years as well.
