You can't vote for your own school, but please carry on.

I'm glad Memphis dominated but it was against Austin Peay, a team that lost every single game last year. Not only did they lose every single game but they lost every game by 24 or more points except for one game, all while playing an FCS schedule. NC Central was bad but they at least won about half their games last year. Austin Peay is a historically bad team right now.

If there's something that you're trying to point out that we Tiger fans don't already know, please speak your mind.

That means collectively they would be 40th.
Just an FYU both memphis and temple have their coach voting in the poll, and both of those teams ended up with just one #25 vote. ==> doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out guys...
Our coach isn't the type to vote for himself. My money would be on the MTSU coach.
PS. Lighten up, no one is taking this serious.
I'll try to find out, but I dont see Matt Rhule as the type of coach to vote for his team either.

Sadly they can, that dipshit Lane Kiffon did it a couple of years ago and got called out on it.
I can't speak for Temple since I know little about their coach, but I would be absolutely shocked if Fuente voted for the Tigers. He's an old school coach who doesn't hand out participation ribbons like that, would be totally out of character. Not that my observations will stop the trolls from implying, mind you, but nevertheless, offered.

I'm just going by the JM tweet and said it was Patterson.
I don't buy the Temple/Memphis vote for each other conspiracy.

lol, if it was another tweet by JM, need I really say more? I will, however, agree with the presumption of Patterson showing a little love to a former protege.

whats wrong with people voting for their own team (conference teams)....people in the P5 do it all the time. See the SEC...you can't tell me that they truly have what, 8 ranked teams that are really that good? It's bad comedy.

A team that smacked a p5 bowl team and one that annihilated a crappy team. But don't let that stop your butthurt.

RE: Cincy, Memphis, and Temple receiving votes in Coaches Poll
Half the teams getting votes in that poll played an FCS opponent so as far as I'm concerned Temple is more deserving than most and should be higher. Texas Tech barely beat FCS Central Arkansas 42-35 and they've got two votes.
Not surprised to see UCF fall out, but if we beat Missouri we'll start getting votes again. However it says something about how silly these early polls are that the difference between UCF being top 25 and getting zero votes is a last second field goal.
