surprising that religion has made a comeback in Russia (relatively) quickly. it's a low number, but religion was illegal less than a generation ago.

Now to be fair I think there are dozens even 100s of other factors at play here, but the simple fact is that the areas where we see most of the worlds problems, or societies with absolutely sickening things associated with them, also happen to be highly religious.

How is it interesting? They only had data on about 40 out of 200 countries on the planet. There's no way to make any assumptions or interpretations from this map. It'd be like me showing the importance of religion in 10 of the 50 states and then asking everyone to make sense of it.

Well you do get ideas in regions. I found Europe and Canada interesting.

it's a map with zero supporting documentation that is nowhere close to complete...it does have pretty colors mixed with a shiteload of gray....if one was out of toilet paper, it would be perfect for the crumple/wipe/flush process

regardless, I'm still trying to figure out what use this would have if it was complete, developed devoid of bias/agenda, and remotely close to being accurate...

maybe a dartboard for the religious right....
