I think Marshall will lose to Akron.

Maybe this could be considered a good year for CUSA when they might be considered close to the MAC level, but overall, the MAC is heads and shoulders above CUSA.

Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Akron, Miami, Kent St, Buffalo, UMass... think of how much time those schools have spent as bottom-ten-in-the-country-bad in the last 5 years.

Unfortunately, the bottom half of the MAC ruins the credibility for the top half.

1. BYU 137
2. Marshall 64
3. Cincinatti 33
4. Louisiana-Lafayette 30
5t. Northern Illinois 4
5t. Colorado State 4
Next 3: Boise State, Memphis, Temple

BYU does not qualify for the GO5 access bowl spot...no point in including them.

I forgot that they didn't count. Do they have any ability to qualify for anything other than a NC game?

This year their only options are the Miami Beach Bowl vs an AAC team or to some how qualifying for one of the 4 playoff spots.

I guess that the risk could be worth it, if they think they'll get invited to a P5 team.

FYI per Hustle Belt... BGSU QB Matt Johnson will miss the rest of the season due to a hip injury.
