Probably this is the closest thing to what you're talking about: http://www.masseyratings.com

Not that 1 week means anything, but they currently have CUSA 5th.

We just need to stay ahead of the AAC; no small feat but if we do, everything else will take care of itself.

Technically I would count us as 4th. Independent really isn't a conference.

I agree, we need to stay ahead of AAC, and keep our distance over the Belt.

And in ratings points, closer to being the top conference in the country than they are to the AAC.

Which I would take with a grain of salt right now. OTOH, I wouldn't post this on the AAC or MWC right now either....lol

I'd honestly have to say that's the worst of them all. They actually have UTSA tied for #1 nationally with several others on their Power Index, and UTEP and Marshall tied for #2 with some others. It's no wonder our conference is rated #5 by that site...haha. For pure amusement, it serves its purpose well.

Ask Houston what their "perception" of UTSA is right about now. 03-lmfao

So we're above Big 12 even though they went 6-3 and put a beat down on two of our teams (UNT, LaTech)?

These ratings use the same or similar methodologies to the RPI.

As the season goes on and those teams get into league play where everyone has a winning record the ratings will get more accurate (if you want to call it that) as we get deeper into the season.
