The one thing that does appear to be working good for me is watching a replay of the "Fan and Press Luncheon". Both video and audio are in sync, no buffering, but I cannot attest to anything else as I've been attending the last few games.
Where I will lose it is when MBB and WBB starts up as I don't make it up for those games. With 19 home games, I am going to be one ticked off fan when I cannot view them due to this stupid Madizone situation.
this is what i've been fearing all along as well. it used to look and sound SOOOO good, i'm going to be super pissed if it's Buffer City.

Lol....neither of the coach's radio shows can be listened to on Madizone. Truly unacceptable this late in the season.
Amateur hour continues.

This is where I have big issues. I said it before, but about 4 years ago, back when we had to pay for it, it was horrendous. I used to be so pissed just trying to watch anything on Madizone and most people totally gave up on it, especially because we had to pay for it.
Then they got it all fixed and at the same time the allumni association started picking up the tab. They lured us all back with a very good product and increased viewership tremendously.
Now, the Alumni Association is still picking up the tab, but its gone to crap and our Alumni Association thinks they are doing everybody at JMU a favor. So the buyer of the product is not screaming, but rather the people who get it free are the complainers. Therefore, they think there is just no pleasing us. No one is reacting who has the power to make it better.
I know its a CAA deal and JMU, being the good partner, is simply not wanting to make waves, like our leaders, they all just want to be good guys. Ron and Dean Ehlers wouldn't stand for this crap.

I sent a link to this thread to the Alumni Association, sharing with them some of the frustrations re Madizone. I am confident that our AA will do whatever is possible to make this experience better.

RE: Madizone problems
I would be more than happy to pay a fee if it meant that I could watch games in the comfort of my own home on any device other than my iPad mini. I spent a large fortune last year on my nephew's college website so I could watch his last year of playing football and I am paying a small fortune this year on my niece's high school's website so I can watch their football team play. Folks are willing to pay for a quality product.
I am going to be less than happy in a couple of weeks when WBB season starts. As much as I try to get back to Harrisonburg for all the games, I know there will be a lot I will miss.

High school that live streams their football games?! Wow. Am I just behind the times or is that a thing now?

The coverage of this Homecoming Game is horrible! Transmission breaks every 2 minutes and poor ( and bland ) play-by-play. No 'Juice' here ....

Not sure what it is about my setup, but MadiZone has been perfect for me this year. Watching on iPad/Safari

RE: Madizone problems
Not sure if anyone else had this problem - tried listening through Madizone yesterday (I was working and didn't want to pay attention to a screen), and when I clicked, I got a working stream, but no audio. Audio controls were working, clock was ticking (meaning content was being streamed) but the stream was silent.
Again, went to WSVA (this time their website, not the TuneIn app) and got a fine-sounding broadcast.
Just one user's experience.

RE: Madizone problems
Looks like Madizone got an upgrade. There's finally a pause button, full screen option, and multiple views you can choose. Wished this stuff was there in the first place, but good job of taking feedback and getting it implemented.
