So is Marshall biggest UTSA fan?
Just pondering, not predicting. Was looking at UTSA schedule, UTSA and Marshall don't play each other. If UTSA beats AZ, wins out their side of CUSA and only loses to Ok St and Marshall goes Undefeated. That seems to almost lock up the winner of the CUSA for the ACCESS Bowl. I would have to say that would be the ultimate Cinderella story new start up program vs the program of the plane crash. I doubt anyone would have even ponder that scenario prior to week 1. Talk about Banowsky wildest dream coming true.

If the C-USA Championship Game is a match-up of two 12-0 teams, then I agree the winner of that game would be an overwhelming favorite for the G5 slot.

UTSA went 6-2 in conference play last year.

We have OOC home games of Arizona and New Mexico @ Oklahoma St.

Roadrunners are well coached and have a hungry group of SRs. Don't sleep on UTSA or you'll get Coog'd.

Actually, I think they would be Houston fans for the rest of the season. If Houston somehow can right their sinking smoldering ship and win the AAC, then the AAC will have a tainted champ who lost badly to the CUSA runner up (assuming Marshall goes undefeated and beats UTSA in the CCG). Seems that would help Marshall grab the G5 access slot way more than if another schools like UCF, ECU, or Cinci wins the AAC. Of course, from what I saw Friday, theres zero chance that Houston will be winning the AAC. That offense is lost cause. #TravisBushSucks.

First, I have to say that's a scenario I've always considered a viable one. I saw UTSA as one of three strong contenders in the CUSA west going into the season and this just reinforces that.

I think any scenario where the top two G5 teams facing each other in any conf championship game for a winner-take-all access spot would be HUGE for TV and the G5 as a whole.
