transfers?
This thought came to me prior to last night's debacle.
Outside of the RB from Rutgers ..... did we get any transfers? Not that you want to live and die with transfers, but it certainly is a great way to fill some holes and create some depth.

We should have brought in an OL, LB and QB transfer. Ayres, Eddie Releford (LB/DE) and CB Jamahl Pardner (Pitt) barely played. We sure could have used them.

RE: transfers?
Transfers are great, but where is the depth that has come from the recruiting classes that were redshirted? For the last four years we have heard about the great recruiting, where is the depth now that the transfers (Enders) and gifts (West) are gone?
Mat, I get that you are a fan of Ambrose but at some point this season even you are going to have to look at this objectively and see that the wool is being pulled over our eyes.

BS. I'm a fan of the program. Not one individual coach. Gordy and Phil are great guys but I cover the program and what Rob has done is spectacular. What wool is being pulled over eyes? WTF did Ambrose do to you? Spit in your coffee?
The funny thing is how you constantly rip him over losses and talk about his ego and then consistently refer to how much you give the program every year.

RE: transfers?
I give regardless of the issues I may have with one coach because its bigger than any one coach. I would not take my ball and go home just because of Ambrose, it's my alma mater and where I bled and gave my heart on the field. Rob will rise or fall on his own merits. What the program has achieved is only as good as how consistent it becomes. It's not a program until it's sustained and we have not proven we can be playoff worthy in consecutive years. It's not looking good now.

RE: transfers?
We were playoff worthy in 2012, playing two FBS schools wasn't RA's fault, and we were the best 7 win team in the FCS. The committee chose to screw us.

In my humble opinion, that 2012 team was better than the 2013 team.

transfers?
It is widely regarded nationwide that the '12 team was much better than the '13 team. Most people on the national boards think '12 would have rolled the playoffs and given NDSU the toughest game they have seen. I've been a voting member on AGS and CS for almost a decade. It's one game. The CAA is a battle field. I still see an 8 win log jam in November with Towson in it. 82 needs to cool his jets.
