I'm not saying he was being intentionally misleading then, or is lying now. But being that we've had a history on this forum of people VERY subtly saying things to trick Tiger fans and get them riled up, I'd be very skeptical of anything said like this here-- especially by someone with a history of spreading rumors of not-exactly-100%-true "inside information." There are some trusted members, some less-than-trusted, and some unknowns. Any time there is a (relative) unknown, I'd automatically be skeptical.

Pinch of salt, folks.
Brother, if you only knew ha

I #Boleive you.
You just keep letting them down. You're losing night after night. But it's okay! If you want to turn this around, all you have to do is....

The CA reported about 27,000. I continue to be amazed at the number of fans who come to a rain-likely game without a poncho or rainsuit whatsoever. Bless their hearts, at least they come (unlike so many others), but the obvious stupidity is alarming. My new WalMart rain pants worked well.

Like we kept saying, at least it wasn't real hot or cold. A little warm rain never hurt anyone. And the frozen margarita at the stadium bar at the half, plus a nice little "lead" in the game made everything "awright."

How long has it been since we have been able to just sit there and watch our Tigers rack up points against ANY team?

Those were my exact thoughts when some of our group of 15 started talking about leaving at halftime.

My son was sure glad he stayed. When the kids ran over to be in front of the team as they sang by the band at the end of the game, he got Dorceus' gloves. The first thing he did when he got home from church was to put them on and ask to go out in the yard to throw football.

The new rain gear is incredible improvement over what we had 20 years ago.

I bought season tickets for my mother and father. They went and brought a big golf umbrella, unaware of the rule that you could not bring umbrellas inside.

"Stupidity" was not their problem-- just unawareness of the rule against umbrellas. They watched the game anyway and got soaking wet.

Some actually got in with umbrellas

Yup I saw one in the old student section.

I almost decided not to go to the game because I was expecting it to be a downpour all game and maybe some lightning as well. As it happened, the rain was actually sort of refreshing.
