Just kidding. I thought Houston would give us trouble, but after that last game i'm not so sure.
If it's anyone, it's gonna be ECU. Always a thorn in our sides...

Lawl always the thorn on our sides???? The record is 9 -3 ECU I believe.

Correct. The series began with 4 consecutive ECU wins between 1991 and 1996 while UCF was FCS and transitioning to FBS.

Since then, ECU is 5-3 against UCF. Ruffin McNeill is 1-2 against UCF.

I'll be there. No 4 or 5 star hotels in Greenville so I have to settle for 3 stars. We're looking at the Hilton Greenville since it has the highest user rating (4.6 out of 5).

I'm open to suggestions, however.

There are no 5 star hotels in Philly, so I'm not sure why you would expect one in Greenville. 5 star hotels are pretty much Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, and high end resorts like the Broadmoor, Cloister, Inn at Little Washington, and the Sanctuary.

Not sure why you're bringing up Philly. Orlando has plenty of 5-star hotels and resorts. I figured each city would have at least 1.

There are zero in Orlando according to the Mobil ratings. There are 5 in Florida, and the only one not in the Miami area is the Four Seasons in Naples. They have two in Orlando rated as 4 stars.

The new Four Seasons resort that opened this year should be a five-star when it gets reviewed next year. Four Seasons generally only runs five-star hotels. I'm not sure why he thought there were a bunch of five-star hotels in Orlando though. After the Four Seasons gets rated, we'll only have one.

Not every city has Theme parks pop marked are their cities like Orlando. If it's that important, stay in Raleigh and make the 90 minute drive.

10/2 @ Houston
10/18 vs Tulane
10/25 vs Temple
11/1 @ UConn
11/14 vs Tulsa
11/22 vs SMU
11/28 @ South Florida
12/4 @ ECU

I say Tulane or Houston. Till we have a QB finalized, which could be Holman; any team in AAC can beat UCF if they wear down the defense. Not impressed with Dinovo or the backup RB at all. If the turf toe lingers UCF is in trouble on offense.

Wilson had nowhere to run. They wouldn't use Pete to pass and Pete looked lost out there. You can't block everyone. That changed with Holman out there. Had we not been playing from behind it would have gotten going. He looked good over the summer.

I blame O'Leary for losing to Penn St. That backup QB starts against Penn St you win by 2 scores imo. I see UCF improving a lot over the course of the year as he continues to develop.

What is UCF's record in Dowdy-Ficklen? That's a stat Vegas pays attention to. So, it ought to be relevant.

RE: Which school will hand UCF its first conference loss?
Ruffin McNeill has a losing record against UCF and George O'Leary. The question posed in the OP was which AAC team would hand UCF it's first-ever AAC loss. If your answer is ECU, then by all means, vote as such.

ECU is 9-3 all-time against UCF with the first meeting being a win against the Knights in 1991 and the most recent meeting being a loss against the Knights in 2012. How relevant you think that is to this year's meeting is your prerogative to help you vote as you wish.

I've never seen a fan base get so riled up over another fan saying you will beat his team and making a comment indicating you usually get the best of us. Geez.

Also, 9-3 is a stupid record to quote. We have a losing record, yes, but do you really think 4 wins over an FCS team in the 90s is any indication of either program's ability currently?

Serious question: Why did we play UCF so often in the nineties as an FCS team. Seems random. We have plenty of FCS in NC

The original series was signed as a 2-for-1 with the first game in Orlando in 1991 and return games in Greenville in 1993 and 1994. I believe the fact Jeff Blake was your QB and was from the Orlando area had a lot to do with both the series getting signed and with the 1991 game being in Orlando. East Carolina was the first I-A team to play @ UCF and we were only in our 2nd year of I-AA play after moving up from D-II.

BTW, can you imagine any FBS school signing a 2-for-1 with an FCS program these days? The AD would be fired.
