The original series was signed as a 2-for-1 with the first game in Orlando in 1991 and return games in Greenville in 1993 and 1994. I believe the fact Jeff Blake was your QB and was from the Orlando area had a lot to do with both the series getting signed and with the 1991 game being in Orlando. East Carolina was the first I-A team to play @ UCF and we were only in our 2nd year of I-AA play after moving up from D-II.

BTW, can you imagine any FBS school signing a 2-for-1 with an FCS program these days? The AD would be fired.

Another reason, and most likely the main one recruiting, go play in the recruits back yards.

Good majority so far believe it will be ECU to close out the conference schedule. That's gonna be a heck of a game.

USF will be a hard fought game. Tulsa generally has our number.

I voted for ECU because "none" wasn't an option and ECU definitely has the best shot. I just don't see our guys going into that game at 7-0 with the AAC title on the line and losing. So if we make it that far, it will be one electric game.

Just kidding. I thought Houston would give us trouble, but after that last game i'm not so sure.
If it's anyone, it's gonna be ECU. Always a thorn in our sides...

Thorn......do you mean an overall losing record to ecu and can someone tell me ucf overall record playing at ecu......no disrespect but only stating truths

Huh? What are you talking about? I never talked any trash. I said that if anyone is going to beat us it's ECU because you guys are a thorn in our side (as seen by our losing record against you which has been stated MULTIPLE times by ECU fans since my post).

Sheesh. Don't misinterpret my words. I respect your team, which is why I stated if it's anyone, it's gonna be ECU
