Can't believe what I saw, unfortunately unless you can beat a strong brand name team OOC this year the sting of UTSA will linger and infect every AAC team you beat. What other OOC teams do u have left?

USTA could win CUSA. 39 seniors and a damn fine coach spells trouble for anyone playing them.

Agreed, everyone is focusing on Marshall and their easy schedule. This UTSA team is the one everyone should be watching.

Is Levine up to the job? With a loss to Texas State and now UTSA i would say no. The stakes are to high right now for Houston to wet the bed.

Lol... That was probably their best ooc game. Houston schedules weak after keenum graduated.

At this point--I'm ready to say he is not. As a promoted special teams coordinator with no DC or OC experience---I wasnt really sure until last night. His first year he clearly was not ready---but I thought he might grow into the job. Last year hinted that he might just might be ok.

Unfortunately, I was very suspicious of the Bush hire promotion last December. I've come to the conclusion that Levine is not the right guy. He just doesn't have the expertise to identify top coaching talent---which is what a guy with no real offensive or defensive pedigree needs to be able to do in order to be a successful head coach. Time to move on. We won't win 3 conference games with our current OC.

If Houston is down this year I hope that USF and Memphis are up.

We never really recovered after McNeese. Houston needs to get it together and NOT let this ruin the season. It doesn't have to...

Coach Getonthebus has been doing some good recruiting. He seems to pride himself on good defense and a strong running game, just like O'Leary; so USF might do well this season. Memphis is a wait and see type of situation, but maybe this is there season.

Edit: I thought that you were a USF poster. Sorry.

I'm generally anti-piling on in these situations, but "Coog'd it" is just funny as hell.

And believe me, if "Wave'd it" or "Tulane'd it" was a thing, we would have plenty of examples ourselves.

But something about "Coog'd it" just rolls off the tongue. And between this and the USM loss a few ago, you can't help but feel there's something tragic about being a UH fan.

I would liken it to being a Bills or Cubs fan.

I've always thought the us Pirates had a tough time of it... but damn, Houston fans should be suicidal, yet they are not. They must be good people of high character or something... or maybe they are just masochists.

this was a no win situation for Houston... they would have gotten no respect had they won.
in state games are a *****; the underdog is always super motivated. whoever scheduled this game wasn't using there brain.

Houston looked out of sync from there 1st possession on.
