We scored 9 touchdowns and every single possession was under 3 minutes 49 seconds

Was it due to a faster paced offense like tcu ran under JF?

interesting. At times, gametracker couldn't keep up with our pace. That's common in basketball, less so with football games.

We did run the offense at a much faster pace, however, AP's defense was not at a standard we are going to see going forward.

It was a scrimmage last nite.

And this hurry-up offense and defense is exactly what Fuente stated was his goal the day he set foot on campus. Just like he had at TCU, and similar to Oregon's. He said he just had to get a full scholarship squad and some coaching to do it.

He also said right off the bat that his goal was to use a TE a lot more, and with Cross, we began to see a bit of that last year, and I think we will see a lot more of it this year.

Our coach is the right guy with the right plan and the right staff, and now the right players to do it. Enjoy the ride! #Putyourbowlingshoeson

A very short field for many of those possessions.
