Chimps going to "have a big year" after last night's dominant performance
Down 16-0 to an FCS team and claw your way back, lose Titus Davis to injury, and suddenly the Chimps are calling for a sweep of their P5 opponents (Purdue, Kansas, Syracuse -- I bet they win 1 of those if they're lucky), and have one whole thread dedicated to at least 9 wins this year. Unbelievable.

We have a guy here who says it takes four years to get back to 7 wins.

Did he snit, threaten to leave and never come back because he hated everyone here, around four/five times only to return whiney as ever?

they were predicting 9-10 wins before that game and have apparently not been fazed by the outcome. Mayhaps that is why George has posted on everyone's board with his story. If he can get others to believe then maybe it'll be true!

They didn't look good at all last night. Reading the paper up there this morning there was talk of a wake up call.

If Rush plays like he did on the 1st half last night they are going to struggle all season. Purdue, Syracuse and Kansas is about as soft a 3 week vs P5 schools can get. So I think they will steal 1 of those. But even that means they need 7 in conference to get to 9. After last night I don't see that happening.

Central has always had pretty good run defense, partly because teams can pass on them so they move it through the air. I think they're fooling themselves believing their pass defense is now great.

Take a look at Johnson from BG and Daughrety from WKU tonight. These guys are solid QB's. The Chattanooga QB couldn't make the 3 deep on most MAC rosters, he was awful.

It wasnt smack talk fool, it was a calculated observation. Something completely foreign to you. Had I referred to Dan's sleepy personality, that would be smack talk.

I dont know if we'll beat them. If nothing else it's away and a tough place to play. But I don't think they're a threat to win more than 6 games, and baring key injuries I'm sure it will be a good game.

Well, that's what i would expect from an equipment manager or water boy, but not from someone who actually played at any level. You talk chit and then think you're off the hook and not accountable for our results. Ever hear the proverb about living in a glass house?

You're an embarrassment.

Rather than indulge us with your usual pointless blather, tell me where I'm wrong. I was discussing football. I know it's a novel concept, but see if you can point out the holes in what I said. Actual football talk.....try it, I know you're capable.

Here's what I said
Quote:Central has always had pretty good run defense, partly because teams can pass on them so they move it through the air. I think they're fooling themselves believing their pass defense is now great.

This isn't a tweet. You can respond with more than 140 characters if need be 03-idea

It wasn't football talk, and 80 percent of your bs is mindless blather aimed at trolling CMU. You also leave out that UTC's defense would have been one of the better ones in the MAC. Much better than ours.
