Actually, I think there is an emergency. It's Bowling Green's tackling, which is about as bad as any you will see at the Division I level.

That said, very impressed with Western's execution. Nice first half. A lot of football left to play but congrats so far. Very impressive.

395 total yards at half, not bad. Let's keep the foot on the pedal and don't get complacent. I think Brohm has the Petrino mindset keep doing what you have been.

This game is far from over. BGSU is explosive. Couple miscues here or there and WKU loses.

WKU is looking great on offense, or BUGS is looking horrible on defense, or a combination of the two. BUGS is playing defense like we did under Chris Rippon - don't cover anyone, give 7-8 yard cushions, and take bad angles.

Preseason ranking by both the Orlando & USA Today consider Bowling Green the best MAC team. 1st Column Conf rank, next - Orlando and the last USA Today.

No current plans to expand stadium, but I'm sure there is a file folder in the AD's desk for when the time comes.

After the 1st 2 series I was wondering if Rippon had found his way to the BUGS. I just looked at Eastern Illinois scores in 12 and 13. As good as they were on offense they gave a ton of points up. In 2 years they gave up 35 or more points up 13 times and in 8 of those they gave up 40 and 5 50 or more.

So it doesn't look like Babers strength is defense.

Weak defense in this game, but incredible offense has more than made up for it.

With a defense this weak, I'm worried a bit.

Defense wins championships. If our offense gets shut down and we have to rely on the defense, we're gonna have a bad time.

That said, Holy ****, this Offense is explosive.
