Quit making excuses for them. Temple had to travel. Both played under the same weather conditions. Both played the same amount of time. Vandy made tons of mistakes. Temple took advantage and made opportunities of their own.

Vandy is very fortunate Temple didn't turn those field goals into TD, or we might have had a 50/60 to 7.

Let's talk about what happens on the field.

The narrative that the media tries to sell about why all of those in G5 conferences are undeserving is that we don't get tested week in and week out. They try to say that even the bottom of the P5 leagues are still strong teams and the bottom of the G5 leagues are supposedly complete trash. Well this kinda goes against that line of thinking. Temple is a team projected to finish near the middle to bottom of the AAC and yet they just smashed a team projected to be near the middle to bottom of the league they fall all over themselves to call the toughest. It would be one thing if say UCF were the one that beat Vandy, you could just write that off as the best team in the AAC can beat one of the worst in the SEC, but that's not what this was. This is a great start to show that not only is the top of the AAC good, but those considered to be at the bottom are not to be taken lightly by anyone.

A chain is only strong as its weakest link, not saying Temple is AAC weakest team, but they were considered a possible cellar dweller by most experts (shows what they know), and they beat a 9-4 team (last year), from the awesome SEC! SEC! SEC! (sarcasm here), hopefully this shows a trend "AmericanRising" AAC! AAC! AAC!

BTW, Tulane has a very good freshman QB & RB ! I was at the game & came away very impressed with both players. I'm really interested to see how they do against G-Tech.
