Still not sure what is up with the lack of food in the Champions Club. Are we supposed to buy food from the vendors outside in the rest of the Yard and bring that into the tent? This food used to be complimentary.

I would say from 4:15-4:45

The best part was when they played Devil went down to Georgia with HMB playing the drums.

There was a problem with the electric hookups to the tents. I would call HAF to make sure that the food would be expanded going forward.

I'll ask again since I don't think anyone saw it, does anyone else think the TV in the yard was our old scoreboard screen?

100% no. It was a rented video wall.

There will only be snack-type foods from now on. Each game from a different vendor.

So the pregame buffet is now in the coaches club.

Again does anyone have a report from the club?

RE: The Yard
I wonder if some of the issues & hurry up with the band were due to the incoming rain. The radar was looking pretty ugly coming in & we all know band equipment/TVs/ electronics & water are not a good combo.

We could hear the band at the convo lot. Our group all wished we couldn't as none of us are country fans. So 30 min & out worked for us.

RE: The Yard
HuskieJohn mentioned a lack of port a pots...I hope they resolve this very quickly.

At the Convo lot we had 10 TOTAL . Now that worked just fine this time because not a lot of people tailgated. But for Sat. games this is UNACCEPTABLE.

I also realize they open up the Convo indoor restrooms, but damn...those are a long walk & I don't know that everyone knows they're open. The lines for bathrooms at the Convo lot are going to be awful if they don't add more port a pots.

PLEASE - take note somebody in charge or with athletics!

The Yard
There were 4 or so Port-a-Potties just south of the Champions Club tent.

RE: The Yard
Champion tent is just going to be light food which is great.. Can grill then attend yard and tent later.. Food was better than the horse slop they used to serve. Tvs are great and will be even better on Saturdays when other games going on.

Yes there were some easy opportunities for improvement.

#1 Many more bar tables will be needed for the saturday games.

#2 Get the other food tents up and running for the open instead of 1hr in.

#3 The kidz zone was a little tight with space but its an easy fix with moving the inflatable another 10ft.

#4 I went to buy food at Lukalo's, took my kids to the kids zone then walked to the stadium thru the yard...I did not see 1 porta johns anywhere in the yard. I know they like to keep them hidden but I would really like to see at least 2 of the family/handicap porta johns on the South side of the yard.

******** were all located right outside THE YARD, which I prefer...

And there was a whole lineup of them where the HASF tent used to be.

Yes, it was the first friggin night and they lucked out it wasn't a sunny October Saturday. Remember the howls on this board over the lines at the October Fest tent? If they don't correct the mis-haps from their opening night, it'll fail. I think its a terrific idea. Just need to make some adjustments and execute.

The Yard is a fantastic idea. I thought it was great. Seeing the stage and the huge screen. Being it was the very first "Yard" I give it an A-
