Go ole Miss!
I used to be a passing interest fan of Boise St. but after their dealings with the AAC and to know we are competing with them for an autobid spot. I hope they lose!

I've never pulled for Boise...and when the points you mentioned happened, it sealed the coffin on my love for that team.

Our O Line will be our downfall in that game. We have athletes to match theirs everywhere except O Line.

If Freeze coaches as poorly as he did tonight, Memphis does have a shot.

That's going to be a tall order. They have some legit talent on that squad and will pound us with their size, speed and depth. They are ranked pretty spot on.

If our D brings their "A" game and doesn't get stranded on the field by an inept offense, we could certainly make things interesting. Just wish it were here instead of Oxfart.

My ex and I were there too, and it was one of the greatest experiences I've had as a Tiger fan.

I remember several Ole Miss people sitting around us, tapping me on the shoulder throughout the game and just raving around Wimprine and D. Williams. One elderly gent said that he'd been attending Rebel games since the 1950's and that this was the best Memphis team he'd ever seen.

I'm reaaaally glad we didn't sit in the end zone, when a couple of knucklehead students started throwing whiskey bottles on the field. I was worried about that post-game walk back through the grove. Lol

ECU beating Ole Miss...I can see it. Memphis? Worry about Middle Tenn before predicting an Ole Miss win.

We are going to beat mtsu by at least 17. I will wager 100 on it

Good times. I remember almost getting into a fight with their student pre game. I was out numbered by about six people and then a memphis fan came to my aid. He had to be 6-6 and 300. Body builder build. I was only 16 at the time so he bailed me and my crew out lol. I taunted them for about 12 hours. Good times lol. I can't wait for the trip this year, I expect to win. They have Alabama after us. I feel good about it because Wallace is just a turnover machine. He threw 3 picks in first quarter tonight. I think our secondary eats him up. Bobby McCain will be the best player on the field that day

I'm not saying it's not possible...but by at least 17? What makes you so confident? You lost to them last year 17-15

RE: Go ole Miss!
We received horrible calls and they tried to play dirty, did play dirty. We are just much more prepared after having a sophomore qb starting after taking his freshman lumps. It's at home and we were clearly the more talented team. We are finally up to full scholy numbers. We are ready to roll. We will play at a much faster pace. We are ready to rock this year

Happy to see Ole Miss beat the Broncos convincingly. One less rival for the Access Bowl

RE: Go ole Miss!
"Go Ole Miss"? In Memphis, we say "Go to hell, Ole Miss". Though they certainly did not show it last night, the Rebels/Black Bears have a very good team this year and beating them in Oxford is a tall order.

I can't root for Ole Miss (or ANY SEC school), even against Boise State whom I now despise.

Only in YOUR WILDEST MOST DELUSIONAL, HALLUCINATORY DREAMS are you going to defeat the Raiders! You are my second favorite school in Tennessee but in Football MT owns you!

Yes you won last year, but I was at the game and it was ridiculous. The refs had to apologize to us for sucking so bad. We were also in our 2nd year of rebuilding. This year will be much different.
