Playing a few hours from their home stadium, right in the heart of their biggest rival's city was not a good idea.

yawn

we are better off without them

Oh come on, for 18 months you have been on your knees begging Boise to come back. I think you have a little blue turf around your mouth

Washington St. is a fairly small-time program in a terrible market - IN BETWEEN Boise and Spokane (two relatively weak markets). Don't even average 30,000 at home games. They're one of the extremely lucky schools that gets a huge benefit by being in the right place at the right time 50 years ago.

You mean 100 or so years ago. At least they took advantage, Idaho also had a spot but didn't put in the effort.

Maybe it would have done better on a Saturday, but a Thursday night 5 hours from campus was a recipe for very light attendance.

Seattle is where all the WSU grads go for work though. I was out there recently, tons of WSU stickers/hats/shirts/license plate in and around Seattle.

My neighbor graduated from Ole Miss and was at the game. Let's just say, he's not as optimistic as before. He also said the crowd was pathetic.

Memphis will beat Ole Miss. Am I homer? Hell yes, but I think we get it done.

Well Bo Wallace sucks. So yes, Memphis should have a chance at beating Ole Piss.

I think attendance will get tougher especially this season with all the over exposer with tv. There are going to be many fewer going to games as sure as they can sit on their couches and stay in the ac/heated living rooms.
