RE: College Football 2014 game talk
Navy is a tough team to play against and OSU had a freshman QB starting his first game. They will still be a 10 win team and be the toughest team on UC's schedule. That said, nothing I saw made me believe UC can't go up to Columbus and compete with them.

Seems to me navy usually keeps games close. The triple option basically cuts the game in half so they end up not losing by as much as other lower tier teams.

Totally agree. UC is a better team than Navy, but I would not be at all surprised to see us get beat by a larger margin. Especially with Uncle Urb running up the score.

Yeah, they're really hard to prepare for, especially in an opener. Not only do you have to deal with option discipline, but a completely different blocking scheme than you'll see the rest of the year. Getting cut down is obviously something the DL doesn't get done to them in practice.

The other part being no Miller, which is going to take some getting used to for their offense.

Playoff picture....quite possibly while sitting in the stands watching the game the lens may find them.

No way they are even close with that young offensive line that Navy's average at best defense bothered. And the Buckeyes weakest area is their secondary which wasn't even tested.

B10's power teams can't wait for a young team to come calling without their leader.

OSU secondary sucked last year and Navy didn't exploit it due to their offensive style.

Will be interesting to see what Gunner and this stable of WR's we have can do...I think win or lose, we rack up some serious yards in the air, as long as Gunner has time to throw. That will be the key.

Hey Ragpicker, is there any way you can cut the size of that signature picture down some? It is playing hell with my viewing width.

Will get a better picture next week when O$U plays Virginia Tech - they will definitely test their secondary.

Being off 2 weeks may work to our advantage as CTT, staff and team can see our opponents and have time to identify weaknesses to exploit.

Need to worry less about OSU's DB's and more about their DL.

Seems like everyone involved in football wants to punch Kiffin.

All I've learned from this game is that whatever they pay Holgersen, apparently it's not enough to buy a comb.

What a horrible flag in favor of Alabama. At least the second one today. The guy who threw the flag should be sent to Gitmo.

Agreed! The guy just put his arms up because he was surprised by the collision. I am quite impressed that WVU is hanging in there!!!

I see penalties like that and just shake my head. They even talked it over first. Someone needed to man up and wave it off.

Marshall was ahead of Miami 35-27 with 2:00 left in the 4th, they managed to score again but honestly, I think you can scratch them off the list. They look pretty crappy to me.
