19 game road opener losing streak
According to ESPN which I have not verified, we have not won a road opener since my junior year @Iowa St.

Need to do a little more research but that was the stat I just saw on my charter cable when I went to DVR the game.

RE: 19 game road opener losing streak
It's hard to win your road opener when you consistently schedule a big payday game for your first one. I think the last one prior to Iowa State was in 1988 against Wisconsin.

Looking back all of our road openers have been P5 teams. Point well taken
