I turned the game on right as Campbell punted after their first drive in the 3rd. No first downs for Campbell and 3 TDs for Charlotte since.

Johnson doesn't look too sharp though.

I know Campbell is a private university and isn't coming off a great 2013 season but still UNCC dominance as a 2nd year program is still impressive.

They've never played an FBS team and don't have one on this year's schedule either. They've had 2 Div III games and 3 Div II games, though.

Pretty simple really...still FCS independent, so putting together a schedule was done before the invite to CUSA and probably needed to agree to Home & Home.

I think most would agree that it's not a great preparation for FBS next year, but you have to schedule who you can not always who you want.

You guys have to remember we were not planning to move up to FBS. Also, I think a lot of the schedule was already set.

Point being? When did ODU play its first FBS opponent? Third year? Fourth?

You play who you can when you don't have the benefit of a conference schedule. If you want home games, you play who you must.
