Good save, losing to ACU would have really been hard to rally against. Just think Ga State can fell they would not be the last place team in the Southland.

Yes. Won't it be odd that GaState will be 1-0 and Southern will be 0-1 at the end of the week (most likely anyway.)

losing to acu would have been bad but they looked like the best team most of the game. better coached, less mistakes, and their receivers were always outrunning the state secondary. plenty of work needs to be done but I am glad you guys won.

ACU had the more physical team but GSU had the best leader

Nice win for the Belt but man did Arbuckle overthrow several wide open receivers...had he connected I know at least two would have gone to the house.

Congrats to State for getting the monkey off their back! Biggest difference between last night and the past 3 years is that your team didn't quit in the 4th quarter. That is something Miles can build off of. Arbuckle is easily the best QB you've had. He will put up points against SBC teams, but unless your D improves, it might be another long season. Congrats, and best of luck vs NMSU next week.

Like I said, 31 of 47 (66%) for 413 and 4 TDs and 2 INTs one of which hit the WR in the hands bounced out into the DB'S hands. I'll take that QB play any day of the week. Most importantly he never quit and wouldn't let this team quit.

That was the ugliest, most fun game I've watched in a while. Congrats again. Hope our DBs can cover your WRs or get some pressure on your QB, cause hes got a heck of an arm. I think GSU will get into more shootouts this year though with that awful defense.
