Huskiejohn mentioned this awhile back and I think it's spot on for this years goal. Finish in the top 4 in the conference

I'm hoping NIU does well enough in the MAC to avoid the campus games in the tourney but I'm not sure how I feel about the team yet.

Like several have mentioned, on paper its the best team in at least a decade, lets hope paper transfers to the on the court. With Highsmith still adjusting to this level and the additions of Orris and Johnson, I think there will be some lumps in the non-conf, especially given how challenging of a schedule it is on the road. However, by MAC time, I think is will be a very very tough team to beat. UT or WMU may very well take the division, but I think at the very minimum, NIU will make them earn it.

Agreed. How about we finish .500 in the MAC before we even start talking about postseason tourneys.

I think it was finish in the top 4 in the regular season for seeding purposes.

I'm excited that NIU has reached a watchable level and really hope they take the next step but I'm not assuming it.
