Some of you guys have really thin skin. As I stated, it's good that we reward walk-ons with scholarships. My point was that several of them (defensive players) are listed as 2nd on the depth chart. That doesn't speak well of the recruiting and/or performance so far of those that we recruited ahead of them. Time will tell and I'm rooting for them to continue to do well.

No you don't. He didn't say they haven't progressed. Nor did he say they aren't better. The Doctor clearly stated that the defense is not there yet. You're making assumptions that "not there yet" means regressed or not better.

I noticed Cullen Casey is listed as OT. Anyone have any info on that?

I see your point, but this happens everywhere. Teams are going to have guys that grow between high school and college where it wasn't expected.

I don't really buy the "guy is a walk on and is a 2nd teamer, so our defense must be suspect" Just compare Fulgham to some scholarship WRs like Spellman or others; sometimes the walkons are simply better players.

We allowed 50.4 ppg to FBS opponents last season. Hopefully, we'll do more than make some progress or else we are in for a long season.

I think Harry briefly mentioned it in his blog a week or so ago. It makes complete sense. The team has tremendous depth on the defensive line. If you aren't in the 3-deep, why not move over to the offensive line that has depth issues? Several defensive lineman played both ways in high school (Toal, Franklin, Casey, etc.). Cullen Casey was a 3 star recruit, so he is pretty talented. I would hope that he will rise up the depth chart as the season goes on. He has the size/athleticism to be an asset.

I checked and it looks like he's put on some weight to fill the position. It's great that he's able to switch positions to contend for playing time.
