Considering he's battling to just make the team, I'd guess this has more to do with his name and what city he currently plays for.

Uh ...you're probably right, even though he's likely headed to the practice squad if he was Jimmy Lynch with the Houston Texans it would be no different than him being Jordan with Chicago.03-shhhh

Lynch made it through the cut to 75 players..he is slated to get a lot of PT against Browns which may determine his fate....most sports writers in Chicago predict he won't make the team, but will likely be named to the Breats practice squad as they value his versatility.
