Not surprising at all. Miami still has a huge national following even though the team has been down, compared to their standards.

Wow, that's a pretty brutal home conference slate for a Big 10 team.

Check out "There is No Reason to Buy a Big Ten Football Season Ticket In 2014 Because the Schedules Are Awful" on TheBigLead.com

Even they realize Big Ten football is just not very good right now.

OK. So the rest of their schedule is crappy. We're the best team they've got coming in. We have history with them. Tickets are expensive. Your point is what?

The fact that average tickets are $300 is a testament not to the weakness of their schedule but the strength of Miami. Do you think they'd pay the same price to see someone like Kansas State or Texas A&M?

It's almost as ugly as the one Clemson has this year.

I think you're failing to see the obvious.

I see it something all right. We're obviously the best team on their home schedule, and that says something about us just as much as it does the other teams.

Welp, guess that means we're the best team they'll face at home then.

Which is why ticket prices are very high.

What will you say when FSU travels to NC State and Syracuse and ticket prices are high then too? That it's no big deal because the other teams on their home slates aren't very good? I look forward to the day.
