Isn't it weird to anyone else that we haven't released our schedule yet? Any late surprises by SF???

I don't think there will be, last year's schedule was released Sep 3rd, I think its just a matter of waiting for MAC schedules to come out. With the release of the Idaho game, I think there are just 3 games unaccounted for and one of those will be that pre-season type opponent like Aurora.

There are more than 3 games that we don't know about. NIU will play 12 non-conferences games and 1-2 exhibition games. As was pointed out, Chicago St. is not playing NIU.

This is something that I don't agree with Monty or Athletics on. Get the darn roster updated and at least put up the non-conference part of the schedule. You want people to support and create a little buzz about you then at least let them know who you are and where your going!

It seems strange that we need to search other college websites to see who NIU is playing.

They should create a #schedulepalooza type thing again.

I highly doubt that website design and updating is the coaches responsibility. How about holding the sports information office responsible?

I actually asked Monty about playing Michigan St. a couple of months ago. He said something to the effect of they wouldn't call him back when they tried.

Have not had any info come my way for a
bit but I do believe that we have at least these games at home. Don't know when though.

NIU plays an exhibition game against Roosevelt on November 8.

That is a really really brutal home slate of games, the away games offer some intrigue though and an opportunity for NIU to see their team in big venues.

Frazier said the home bball schedule next year will be upgraded with some big name teams. He said this last night at Fattys.
