Suspects not charged with a hate crime.

Three attacks in less than a week in Federal Hill. We have a first look at the injuries from the most recent attack—and why the victim’s family thinks this might have been a hate crime.

It will take plastic surgery to properly fix the injury suffered by the 25-year-old victim, who asked not to be identified by name. It happened Thursday night when three African-American teenagers attacked him, throwing a rock at his face as he walked down Montgomery Street after leaving his lifeguard job at the nearby Otterbein Swim Club. Police say one of the suspects, 19-year-old Sidney Joyner, tried to stab him with a pocket knife; the victim dodged the blade. [...]

The victim’s father also questions why Joyner wasn’t charged with a hate crime, since the suspects reportedly yelled, “Hey, white boy!” at the time of the attack.

“If roles were reversed, it definitely would be no question whether it was a hate crime or not,” he said.

Another swim club employee was attacked the night before in the same area. He was punched in the face but was able to outrun his attackers. WJZ has learned Joyner is a suspect in that attack as well.

Can you imagine the MSM response if some whites had yelled "hey black boy" and pummeled him with rocks causing those injuries? Not to mention what Al would be doing.

It would be all over the news...but instead three attacks in what is supposed to be a nice neighborhood in Baltimore (all probably race related) doesn't move the needle.

Watch the first white person to fight back and take out one of these as$holes get charged with a hate crime.

How can this not be considered a hate crime?

Just wait, they will attack someone who can protect himself and when he does the leftists will come out of the woodwork and scream racism and how black youth are under attack. Where are Fit, Mach and the board libs on this? They no doubt will say slavery in the past is what causes these attacks or how these poor black youths doing these attacks have been the victims of "white privilege" and therefore can't be blamed for these attacks.

One day, some punks seeking potential targets for the knock out game are going to attack someone who has a CCL, who will calmly duck the initial attack/barrage, then open up on the attackers. Sort of like Goetz on that subway back around 1986. He then might call the police, report the incident, and simply say he feared for his life. Ideally, a video security camera will capture the entire incident and prove the shooter right.

When (not if) that happens, I hope at least one attacker is paralyzed from the chest down and starts crying on the stand about how his life is ruined, etc. That would truly be a Kodak moment.

If I were the shooter, I'd send the devastated punk an unsigned letter: Those tears made my week, punk. You drew the short straw in the FUBAR lottery and earned 30 - 40 years in a wheelchair. Now be a man and "roll with it". Choose your prey more carefully next time.
