So I am sure everyone is aware of the Ice Bucket challenge that is taking over social media. Well the Duke Dog was challenged by the UR Spider. He has now challenged NC State, ODU and GA Southern's mascots. Is he challenging our peers? Like the title says, probably looking way too far into this...

Man, I want to like the guy just because you guys whining about him all the time is annoying. But holy crap, just listening to him trudge through his script there made me cringe. Surely he knows he sounds like that, right...

Although it is looking into things too much, I did think it was an odd collection of mascots.

ODU understandable... NC state??? But GA Southern was the most out there... Like always, JMU was probably the last to get nominated so not many mascots to choose from.

Ya, good thing we got this in early, while there are still some cool mascots left.

Should we really be associating with these schools? NC State I kinda understand, but ODU and GSU don't have the academic pedigree to be nominated by Duke Dog.

NC State's academic pedigree fits right in with ODU, most SBC schools and Mississippi/Miss State.

The Duke Club staff did theirs at an opportune moment during MRD rehearsal
