"JMU received no conference invites to evaluate."

Thanks. As an fyi, this is from Aug 15 and was a write-up of the broader conversation the Breeze had with Alger as part of the #AskAlger campaign.

Also, not to start this again, but the "JMU received no conference invites to evaluate" may be factually true but is a deceptive practice by leadership to pull the wool over the eyes of the fans that aren't close enough to realize how the conference invite process works and the fact that the SB was there for the taking if we wanted it.

Oops you are correct - I thought it was current when I was reading today's issue online. I did wonder why no one else had shared it - haha!

"JMU received no conference invites to evaluate."

Even if this is true (say the SB never told JMU in private that they would extend an invite) it's still a pretty sad state.

MAC Commissioner (July 2014,); “We have no plans to expand after UMASS departs”

CUSA Commissioner (July 2014); “I believe realignment is over, the seas are calm, Western KY was the last piece to the puzzle”.

Sun Belt Commissioner (May 204); “JMU made a decision that they do not want to play FBS football”

Jeff Bourne (various dates); JMU has numerous good options, do not believe what you read”

Maybe things will work out for JMU.

"Good position to analyze" ...is JMU not in a good position to act?
"JMU is at a point where it needs" ....leadership?
"Everyone is concerned" ...more than you may realize President Alger
"its to soon to know"

_____________________________________________________________________________
In conclusion (another JMU admin give away)
