we are in big trouble, only one person seems to know what he is doing and thats MD.

YOUTH MOVEMENT: Heading into the 2014 season, the Huskies rank as one of
the youngest teams in the nation. As camp broke in early August, 73 of the 105
players on the roster were either freshmen or sophomores - a whopping 69.5
percent of the entire team. That number puts NIU fifth nationally and first in the
Mid-American Conference for the country’s youngest roster. Among
the other most youthful rosters: Pittsburgh (78.6 percent), Penn State
(72.4 percent), North Carolina State (70.5 percent), Wake Forest (70.5
percent) and Purdue (69.3 percent).

I think we're doing fine..time will tell..but this is exactly why DD's two year stint kills me.. we need to continue writing our contracts to make the two year dance here not the norm or NIU gets PAID!

Interesting...it doesn't SEEM like we've had that many transfers/leaving the programs, at least more than normal.

It may be a young team but there is a whole whole lot of talent when you look at those 2 deeps

But Carey can't make a decision!!! How the hell did he come up with 43 players to name to his two deep. He even named like 19 starters without an OR.

I'm astonished his brain was able to come to the conclusion on these things!!!

that ain't gonna happen. Just pick the right fit for HC, hope he recruits his ass off and leave the program in a little better shape then when he came in. Coach Kill and Doeran did that and the program continues.

We are young overall but our 2 deep is fairly full of upper classmen. Actually, it is good to have older starters and a big pool of younger guys

But isn't it DD's lack of recruiting that is forcing such a young team this year?

Its a good balance of young and veterans, and even though it may be a little young its absolutely loaded with talent, just loaded.
