That's a pretty misleading statement. He redshirted and was scout team as a freshman. Played backup (actually 3rd string as a freshman) and ten was at Toledo last year.
The kid has a good pedigree but man that's a total twist on the actual situation to sound favorable. He want even in Alabama three years.
