We'll have had a chance to sleep on the first game of the Clark Era.

A prediction thread of sorts. I'm not really asking for a score, but more what do you think will be the major discussion points following the game.

Let's get the standard caveats out of the way, and say besides Legion Field (parking, concessions, etc), the heat, attendance, and the usual ancillary bitching .

We'll be discussing if the defense has shown signs of improvement and if Woodfin's S&C has shown results.
Hopefully we'll be discussing how the win looked as well.

We will be discussing the qb first and foremost. That position is going to be a key to our success.

We will be discussing the defense. Did we come up with any three and outs? Did we do better than 2-32 defending passes? Etc.

We will be discussing the coach. A head coach with actual coaching experience may make decisions that we might have wished the last two did at times.

Hopefully we will be discussing the possibility of getting to six wins.

Those are the more obvious points that I think we will hit on, win or lose.

Knowing this board, we will be discussing potholes on Graymont avenue, arguing about how long it takes to get from Hoover to Legion Field and Just what the definition of a true fan is.

i think he meant to ask what NEW stuff we'll be discussing, not the obvious stuff that we always discuss

That was included in the ancillary.Not sure i use that word very much.

I think offensive/defensive line play.

Don't forget the argument about how good/ugly the uniforms and helmets looked!

I think the better coaching will stand out!

Now that we've beaten Troy, how much of a chance do we have against Mississippi state?

We'll be discussing that if we beat MSU, we'll have a clear path to a playoff berth.

Can we run the table and get to a BCS Bowl.

We'll either be talking about Troy's band being too loud, or the onsides kick in the second half.

Let's talk about 0, -1, & 5.

Forget the W/L record. Focus on effort (especially on defense), and general team attitude. This man is the real deal, and 2015 should be a terrific litmus test on his ability.

Well, he is definitely straightening up the mess McGee left behind. I have a feeling he has made great strides in the right direction. Who knows how well that will translate in wins/losses this season?
