That said, I guess I'm right there with you. I'm in Clark's corner and he's made a believer out of me before ever seeing his team on the field.

Bill Clark isn't going to make the same mistake twice. Our Blazers may not be the more talented team, but I bet they will have been given the opportunity to be the better prepared team come Saturday. Whether any of it sticks, we'll see.

I actually thought we were the more talented team last year vs Troy. We just got our asses handed to us on the coaching side. After that the injuries started piling up. Another coaching blunder. This year we are physically and mentally better with a real coach.

That said after Troy I feel like we will be discussing the possibility of getting to six wins. We will have an EXCELLENT shot at starting 3-1.

Oh and Love Ty Longs's grandfather. That will be me when my grandson plays cornerback for the Blazers many years from now!

I will be looking forward to discussing how consistently well UAB played in the last 20 minutes of the game, and that the QBs and defense didn't meltdown late. I also hope we are able to to have no negatives about coaching decisions made during the game. We will be able to discuss the sharp throws to capable open WRs and RBs who excel at YAC and protect possession of the ball on all plays.

I hope we're discussing how the team didn't seem to roll over and give up after a late score against them... that they're playing with purpose in the 4th quarter, no matter what position they're in... and that they actually appear to make adjustments after halftime, even when they've been playing ahead.

It would be a good Monday indeed, if that's what we're talking about... Win or Lose.

Halftime adjustments... positively this year. More hustle on the field and smarter decisions. Oh, and the loud piped-in music and how it changes so much when the wind blows.
