Miami fans EXIST?!
Yes, it's true! Miami fans DO exist.

UM set a new school record for season ticket sales at Sun Life Stadium, announcing that they've already sold more than 31,000 tickets with a few more days before the hope opener against FAMU. More tickets are expected to be sold by that time.

Also, UM has sold out all 1,500 tickets to the Louisville game but the athletic staff is frustrated by the amount of Hurricane Club members who have bad schedules (i.e. work on Tuesdays) and couldn't make the game (which is on Monday).

They have, however, made statements indicating UM will have many more than 1,500 fans at the Nebraska game, though how many remains unclear.

No more single game tix remain for the FSU game, and the cheapest mini-pack seating available is $108. Both UNC and FSU games are expected to sell out.

Nice improvement. Scheduling seems like it's getting smarter (e.g. Gators last year, Noles this year, Huskers next year...)

Second thread about their great sales and completely ignoring the fact that it's largely being driven by their in-state rival and the reigning national champion, not their own fans.

Thank goodness it is. People are tired of crappy schedules.

Ok. It has little to no effect on sales.

You're right. Non-UM fans are having little to no effect on season ticket sales. This is due to a couple of reasons. The first, main reason, is that UM is offering a mini-plan package with tickets for the UNC and FSU games, which are what visitors' fans are primarily buying because it's a heck of a lot cheaper. UM fans are buying season tickets more and more this year, and there is a noticeable buzz in the community. Playing the rivals, the defending national champs (so-called), is motivating fans to support their team more than ever and Al Golden is finally starting to get support of the 'background' fans who aren't typically super involved. Green's pictures show only a small sliver of the over 6,000 who attended our CanesFest this year.

Wait, so those "season" ticket sales include 2-game packages?

Season tickets include tickets to all games and is dramatically more expensive. The 2-game package only has the two games (UNC and FSU) and is dramatically cheaper.
