Sure he's serious, newbie. South Alabama is the only charter member left in the SBC. We never left and came back in, newbie.

ULM would be a better choice, although Lafayette might make the most sense.

What other than having more money than ULM makes sense?

Both ulm and state are more easterly than UL. We will not go east willingly.

ULM would be pretty vocal about remaining in the same division with Astate and La-La as well; with that said, I think the three would all get their way and Missouri state would be the odd man out and go to the east.

NOW, lets say both Idaho and NMSU leaves or dropped out of the conference and both Missouri state and Eastern Kentucky gets picked up, then you'd see the bears in the west and the Colonels in the east.

If Idaho is dropped and NMSU gets a full invite...I think you could see astate move to the east.

I think Arkansas State University should remain in the West, and ULM belongs in the East, they are a natural fit.

Whatever happened to that new legislation that the ACC tried to put out? From my understanding, it would've done away with divisions and placed the the top two teams in the championship game.

Welcome to the conference we've played in for 40 years. And welcome to FBS, which we've been playing longer than you in the modern era.

Thanks, we look forward to bigger successful at this level just as we have been at every level, included 1A.

Welcome to football, we've played since 1928 and had a ten year run previously at the highest level.

I've forgotten more great football moments than you have witnessed at S. AL.

First couple of years you played some super easy teams, first year all
at home. So you really have played football @ 3 years. But really
doesn't matter. You did well last year, particularly the end of the year.

The answer is Idaho to the east. This grouping diminishes the disruption of rivalries in the west when Idaho exits the SBC.

East

App State
Georgia State
Georgia Southern
Louisiana Monroe
South Alabama
Troy

West
Ark State
Idaho (replaced by Texas - Arlington)
Louisiana Lafayette
Missiouri State
Texas State
New Mexico State

or Idaho stays and go to 14 teams

East
App State
Georgia State
Georgia Southern
Kennesaw State
Louisiana Monroe
South Alabama
Troy

West
Ark State
Idaho
Louisiana Lafayette
Texas - Arlington
Missiouri State
Texas State
New Mexico State

Undoubtably, you have Alzheimer's, SA. Alabamians have become football experts due to the success of Auburn and Alabama football before USA was even a school. You'll play hell being successful winning football games for a while yet when you start playing football in FBS and the Sun Belt with the big boys. Forget about your past success in the little leagues, chum. That is water over the dam. It is time to man up.

You're counting Alabama and Auburn memories, I don't think we need to discuss this any further. I don't have to fall back to daddy for my memories.

What is the benefit of picking up 14? It dilutes the payout amount from conferences. If you're adding UMass, then you're not increasing the profile of the conference.

I just don't see the benefit to adding above 12.
