One of the better lineups for a hippie jam festival I've seen. It has the usual suspects with some added flavor.

I'd love to see Freeman, but judging from what I've seen on youtube, he could not have picked a less inspired group of musicians to play with. I've seen better Ween covers from random bands bar side at Newby's than these clowns. Gene Ween is a musical god and should know better than to tarnish his (and Mickey's) legacy with these knuckleheads.

I wish! What an incredible line-up. Other than the ABB, I would love to see Gary Clark again.

Guess I will just have to live for Widespread to visit Memphis soon. Are you going to that?

Yes I am!

By the way, the Panic played at Snowden Grove in September last year - good shows, but you will not have to wait long for them to visit Memphis again. They play two shows at the Orpheum on October 18th and 19th this year. Both shows are sold out, but you can always find tickets.

Never have seen Taj Mahal (which sucks because I'm a huge fan), but I've seen pretty much every other band on that list. ABB will be worth the price of admission.

Also pay attention to whether or not Chris Robinson brotherhood and Tedeschi/Trucks are on the same day, they've done a lot if sitting in with one another recently including one of the better love lights I've seen and (ray Charles?) "let's go get stoned"

I saw Taj Mahal a long time ago - looking forward to seeing him again. He's playing on the After-Show Triangle Stage, which is a more intimate stage out by some of the camping sites after the show.

The set up for this festival features continuous music between the two main 'interlocked' stages. The band on one stage stops and the next band immediately kicks off on the other stage. Supposedly, there's lots of folks siting in with each other and, yes, Tedeschi/Trucks play on the same day as Chris Robinson. Tedeschi/Trucks are playing the main stage on Saturday, but are also playing an acoustic set on the After-Show Triangle Stage on Friday.

Steve Winwood will be sitting in with Widespread for the Saturday show! They also play Sunday without Steve.

On Sunday, the Allman Brothers will be performing the '71 classic Live at the Fillmore East. One of my all time favorite live records. Whenever I saw the ABB and they opened with Statesboro Blues, I knew we were in for a killer night.

It will interesting to see what of his songs WSP works into the show. I'm thinking Dear Mr. Fantasy for sure (I once heard the Dead play this into Hey Jude). It would great to hear Can't Find My Way Home.
