As I follow UM some (due to relatives living there), this news has got to be trouble for the Canes. Heaps was expected to take the job when Williams went out, him not winning the job may mean QB issues for the entire season. Expect a heavy dose of Duke Johnson, but it may be mute since he may not last a rough season being keyed on in every game and coming off major knee surgery. This is the perfect time for UC to score an upset down there. Having Nebraska, Duke, Georgia Tech prior to the UC game is also a huge help.
